If you feel glum or bogged down by life. Mental health issues might be produced for an imbalance on chemicals and hormones on the brain or by external circumstances.

endorphins (body’s painkillers) and Oxytocin ( The “connection hormone”) among others.

Improves Reduced mobility, stiffness or pain on back, neck and shoulders and sciatica.

Decreases Chronic pain and fatigue, soothes nervous tension and stress on your body.

Improves flexibility. Reduces inflammation on fascia (connective tissue-which wraps and keep our body together), specially on joints.

Improve Lymph and blood circulation, swelling of arms or legs due to fluid retention (Oedema).
Post-operative recovery and pain

As a complementary approach to the physical and psychological aspects, be aware that massage or any other form of bodywork can bring up powerful feelings on you, the receiver.

Your body often store emotional pain or traumatic memories within the different layers of fascia and muscle tissues. They need to be released in order to heal body and mind (Somatic release).

Negative emotional states can also be the cause of chronic joint, back or limbs pain, gastrointestinal problems, fatigue, sleep disturbances, changes in psychomotor activity and changes in appetite to name a few.

If you have severe medical condition and not sure whether you can receive Aquatic therapy, please CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR AND ASK THE THERAPIST, for your own safety and peace of mind.

Medical Conditions can and must be stabilized and managed. Medical clearance in writing.

I will adapt the session accordingly.

Prior to any type of bodywork, be it massage or Aquatic therapy, a consultation with the therapist is necessary and a health questionnaire must be completed.

Several sessions might be required to achieve your goals. As a general rule, you should consider a course of six to eight treatments to begin to see real change.

A session may take between 45 minutes to 90 minutes depending on the treatment and conditions to treat, water and/or land based.

Long-standing health problems will, of course, take longer to treat.

You should never have to leave a session feeling strung out, upset and unsupported, if you have any concerns, please ask.
